Fantastic recording. I haven't listened to the latest remaster which has speed correction. but that was the only negative about the master transfer - to my ears it ran a little fast. And for context, bringing in shotgun mics and a D5 and then holding them all night for taping is quite the feat. Those Nak shotguns are about a foot long each and then the mic body is like 6 inches. Hard to make those stealthy. And the D5 was like the size of a college textbook. Amazing feat.

I had downloaded the original "Music In The Abstract" release many, many years ago and enjoyed it for what it was, especially being the most complete Signals boot to date, but this 2026 Remix-Remaster really makes the show feel brand new. Over the past 2 months, I've been revisiting ALL of my own personal "Rush Tours Live" albums for each major tour, and when I discovered that this show was reworked, I promptly downloaded it here and listened to it. Hearing this show with fresh ears promptly spurred me to re-do almost all of my personal live album edits (with BIG thanks to all of the uploads on this site). The sound on this Remix-Remaster is something else, and other than one guy who is hollering pretty loudly for most of the show between songs, it's probably the most listenable AUD boot in my collection, and now stands out as the definitive New World Tour show for me.

Thank you for the nice comments, as they are very much appreciated. Yea, that 'hollering guy' got on my nerves as well but editing him out would have taken another month of weekends, and I had already spent way too much time on this project as it was. Projects like this are not to everyone's liking, as it tampers with the 'purity' of the recording. I'm of the opinion that most ROIO's need some form of post-production, and I've spent time doing just that for many years now.
