• This is a rehearsal of the full Counterparts setlist, played four nights before their first show of the Counterparts tour at the same venue.
• Distant Early Warning was played during this rehearsal, though it ultimately never appeared during any performance of the Counterparts tour.
• This recording cuts off during YYZ, however that is the last song of the Counterparts setlist (with short Cygnus X-1 outro) so no further songs were likely played.

The encore for this recording was included in a bootleg titled "The Mighty Three: 1994 Encores & Things," however it seems that the levels don't match so it's not as simple as replacing those three tracks on this album. Also of note on that bootleg is the soundcheck from Philly, the show directly after they cancelled a show for Geddy's illness. You can really hear him straining to sing. I'm glad he took a longer rest when he got sick in Fort Worth this year. He came back stronger than ever!

@SnowDog2112 That's interesting, I had no idea the encore existed from this recording. I just took a look through my miscellaneous compilation bootlegs to see if that particular bootleg fell under my radar, but it looks like I don't have that one. If I understood correctly, you do have a copy of it?

I've got a list of things that have essentially become lost to obscurity due to minimal trading, but this nor the Philly soundcheck are on that list. I'd love to get them up here if possible.
Poor Geddy was sick for a good portion of this tour, those late April shows are the worst I think he's ever sounded. Sure, he was strained out and falling flat during a bit of 1980, and his vocals from the last several tours weren't always that great, but regarding reaching full-on torn up vocals I think 1994 takes the cake. I was pointing this out to some people recently, as a reason to why the lengthy Fort Worth delay was inarguably the best call, even if it shattered a lot of people's plans (mine included).

I do not have a lossless copy. I probably downloaded it 15+ years ago when storage space was more of a premium, so I converted to MP3 and purged the FLAC.

Another noteworthy recording in that link that I think is missing from this site is the Counterparts demo tape. Deja Vu and Vuja Dey, not sure if both are necessary off the top of my head.

There might be some other missing gems in that archive. That was my go-to source for Rush boots for a couple of years before I discovered this site, it seems to be a pretty comprehensive archive. This site is a much better medium to promote discussion and keep track of updates and new material.

Oh yeah, I'd looked through that "Rush Vine" Mega link years ago, pretty outdated at this point regarding new shows and upgrades from the past 5-6 years, and a decent bit of mislabeled/misdated stuff we'd since straightened out. It had some "fakes" too. That's all always been the things I've tried to stay on top of.

I thought I was thorough skimming over it for anything I was missing. Maybe I assumed this compilation disc had nothing special. Either way, just now grabbed it. I'll upload the contents here asap. Another big thing with that Mega link that I noticed in the past was a lot of files were corrupt and wouldn't download. Which has been a personal problem, because admittedly I obtained the majority of DVDs from there, as videos weren't something I had on the physical drive I originally started building the website from. So I've got a few DVDs with a some bad/missing files that I still need to find replacement rips for. Quite annoying to say the least.

Yes I do have the Counterparts "demo"... I've long hesitated to upload it over the past years due to it being pretty identical to final versions. The mix is a slight bit different of course, but since it wasn't alternate recordings like the Power Windows demo, it kinda scared me if you know what I mean. I've generally avoided uploading other stuff like ESL/Toronto 84 KBFH broadcasts for obvious reasons. I also took down the 1973 single download after the R50 boxset came out.

Though since I'd recently uploaded that Presto rough mix that surfaced a few months back, I may as well share the Counterparts one now too...
Besides, I may have an unheard T4E early mix coming soon, I'll know more once I transfer the tape. I suspect it to be similar to that Counterparts tape, and if so I definitely want to share it.

I didn't know how many fans had seen that tape for sale within the <24 hours it was listed lol. I was afraid of it being bought and never heard, or at best end up like the Presto tape with a poor transfer. Hopefully I didn't spend that much money only to get the final mix. Dog Years is 16 seconds longer though, so that's at least going to be something.
My assessment based on the printed date is it's a sampler for industry people when the mixing was close to being finalized. Definitely not a "promo" tape.
I should have it by the end of the week, and will share info in a new, proper post here asap...
