After Further Analysis:

AUD Tape runs a little slow.

A Passage to Bangkok from ESL was not from this night. At least not in its entirety. Listen to Geddy's vocals on "Along the way!" in the final chorus. On ESL he finishes low. On this AUD recording he finishes high. Alex's Solo seems to be slightly different as well. There could be some studio magic there, but who knows for certain?

Closer to the Heart is almost certainly from this night. The tapes line up so closely you could make an awesome matrix. It looks like they cut part of the final chorus to shorten it for ESL.

Beneath, Between, and Behind is most likely not from this night. Almost none of Geddy's vocal phrasings line up.

Jacob's Ladder appears to be a different night, based on a slightly different introduction from geddy, and the moog solo. Although, alex's solo sounds identical. They could've easily chopped bits from this show though, its a complex song.

I'm sure someone could solve this mystery better than I. Its fun to wonder. Either way they killed it every night

This is definitely the version of Closer To The Heart we hear on ESL. Interesting to note that you can hear the delay effect on Neil's chimes before the 2nd verse, including the pitch bend down on the last note. This effect was done on the mixing board for the PA system, but was not tracked to tape, so we don't hear it on ESL.

Also, as Bacchus Plateau mentioned, there are a few bars cut out of the final chorus, likely to keep the side from being too long.

Hysterical to hear the audience trying to clap to the 11/4 rhythm in Jacob's Ladder!

Thanks for the notes. I always had trouble comparing aud tapes to the ESL album, the studio tampering makes it difficult at times. I think they sometimes mixed up different parts of songs.

While on the topic of this show, I just deleted the mp3 files of the full show and replaced with the FLAC of the same tape. Someone managed to obtain the lossless for me a month or so ago.

I do think there's some damage with the tape, yes the speed is a bit slow as-is, but to me it doesn't seem consistent when when I tried to adjust. Though I don't have perfect pitch, and I don't think the friend I usually have speed correct for me is going to want to touch this one. So if anyone wants to try fixing it up, I'll happily reupload that version. That goes for any slow/fast recording.
