• Wanted! If you recorded audio tapes, videotapes, or film at a Rush concert and would like to help further preserve Rush's history, please contact us at "admin@rush-archives.net"!
  • Archive Status: All known unofficial live recordings from 1974 through 1997 are now currently available for download. 2002 and onward will be added throughout 2026.
  • Photo additions are a slow work-in-progress, as completing the additions of all live recordings currently takes priority. Posters, adverts, and tickets will eventually be included on the wesbite as well.
The goals here will to be iron out the increasing flood of incorrectly dated photos that go around, as well as adding rarely seen photos that haven't ever been properly documented.

Photos from Fin Costello

Exact date/location unknown, but suggested to be around April.

Note, Geddy can be seen using his original Fender Precision bass, which we don't have many photos of him using after he got the Rickenbacker in August 1974. We know that sometime in 1976 he had it cut down into the teardrop shape, repainted blue/white, and changed the pickups, after which its sound changed greatly and is easily identifiable during encores on All The World's A Stage tour recordings. Prior to it being rebuilt, I am not sure when or how often he used this bass instead of the Rickenbacker.

Note, the full size image can only be found online in really poor resolution, all other versions crop the entire bottom portion. Both versions are shared here.
It's easy to mistake this one as the same show as those above due to the bass and outfits, but this photo isn't ever credited to Fin Costello, and you can see Alex's pants are a lighter color, plus looks like Geddy may be wearing a darker shirt underneath his white jacket.
