Photo from unknown
This photo seems to have originated from a yearbook, but like many photos online has kept being spread around without the details included. If anyone does know the origin of the photo, please let us know.
Note, this would appear to be the only known photo of John Rutsey's blue Premier kit with a double-bass setup. Not to be confused with his previous red Gretsch, which also had a double-bass setup. Other photos dated both before and after this photo, show the Premier kit with a single-bass setup, and the inclusion here of the early Rush logo places it sometime after the Premier kit was first seen as a single-bass setup without the stylized logo.
