• May 2023 Update: Many apoligies for the extended period of inactivity, however many big changes for Rush Archives are now in progress. This should benefit everyone, and propel the site onward in the most realistic way possible. Thank you to those who have been supporting this project, and for being patient with the methods I've so far been operating. Further details will be coming soon.

This is the third of three consecutive nights Rush played at Maple Leaf Gardens in 1978, as there was no performance on December 30.
There's a brief intermission following La Villa Strangiato to welcome in the New Year of 1979 with a countdown at midnight.
This New Year intermission is not as lengthy as the similar Maple Leaf Gardens 1976 recording, due to the tape being stopped while Auld Lang Syne is playing through the speaker system.
This recording captures most of the performance, however the majority of Neil's drum solo is missing due to several cuts.
There is also a very brief cut between the ending notes of Cygnus X-1 and the very beginning of Hemispheres, only chopping Geddy's intro and maybe a couple seconds of music.
