Notes:

  • While this recording has circulated for decades as an audience recording, the dry separation of mic/instrument feeds clearly indicates that much of this source is comprised of a higher generation copy of a soundboard tape, with bits of an uncirculated audience recording patching in the missing pieces. While you may find an alleged Birmingham "soundboard" elsewhere online, this is NOT another one of those "full show" compilations sourced from the "A Show Of Hands" releases. This version is unique and separately sourced from a soundboard recording, not the official multitracks.
  • This recording is from one of the same performances as the "A Show Of Hands" video concert, however unlike the video, this recording does not have any songs missing from the full setlist performed. (*)
  • The "A Show Of Hands" video is comprised of footage from the three nights Rush performed in Birmingham in 1988, April 21, 23, and 24. This is the third night in Birmingham. Also note that the official audio version of "A Show Of Hands" is not the same performance, rather handpicked recordings from different dates of the Hold Your Fire and Power Windows tours.
