Notes:

  • This audience recording is from one of the same two Toronto performances videotaped for the "Grace Under Pressure Tour" video concert, originally released as an hour-long edit in 1986, then much later released as a full concert in 2026. Songs missing from the original video release are noted above. (*)
  • Neither the 1986 nor 2026 releases are 100% compiled from one single show, each seem to use camera angles and audio sourced from both nights, something which is more heavily apparent with the 2026 version. To make matters more confusing, the 2006 DVD release altered some of the audio when compared to the original VHS/Betamax/Laserdisc releases.

I listened to this for the first time a couple years ago, and my first immediate thought was the tour vid is comprised of at least two of the three nights at MLG.

On the vid Ged botches a lyric on “The Weapon,” but not on this recording, plus a few other inconsistencies.

Boy, I hope one of the MLG shows in its entirety is part of the p/g 40th anniv package.

I am hoping that video of the entire show exists. I know Afterimage was taken out of the setlist by this point, but I won't be disappointed with video of The Body Electric, Between the Wheels, Kid Gloves, and Red Lenses.

Sadly, it looks like much of the concert is out of sync. I watched part of it and it gets unwatchable in places. I'm hoping somebody will do a proper edit in time.

I fully agree with you, on top of that, if you compare both the original version of the video Vs the new remaster playing at the same time, you will notice that Geddy is seen on most of the new takes. Not mentioning some IA work applied to the picture, removing grain details, giving a more digital experience instead of the original organic. It is a bit disappointing. Hope to see a thread or a review of what we all have seen.
