Notes:

  • This recording features an early live version of Xanadu with alternate lyrics, "the miracle of ages coming true".
  • This recording features the earliest known performance of the full Discovery section of 2112, which had long been believed to have not been played until the leg of European shows that started about a week and a half later on June 1st.
  • This recording also features one of several known rare live recordings of The Necromancer. During this Aragon show, the playback tape of Neil’s narration for Return Of The Prince seems to slow down, garble, and stop before finishing, as if the tape was being eaten. Seemingly, upon realizing what was happening, the band promptly continues into the song without error.
  • In The End has now been dropped from the setlist, most likely to allow for more time to perform Xanadu which had replaced The Twilight Zone.
  • The tape was stopped temporarily after Anthem, so is missing Lakeside Park. The tape was stopped again after Xanadu, so is also missing the majority of Something For Nothing. These tape pauses seem to suggest the taper, Mark, was moving closer to the stage, as there is an increase in clarity when the recording starts again.
  • This recording is also likely missing Best I Can, which was usually performed as the final encore during this time period.
  • This concert was recorded by Mark Moore, who also recorded Rush in 1975 on November 15 at the Rockford Armory, and twice in 1976 on March 5 at the Randhurst Arena and November 13 at the Rockford Armory.
