Working Man
Fly By Night
In The Mood

Notes:

  • This footage was shot by Bill Wheeler. Audio sync and color correction by Classic Rock Media Archive. UFO opened for Rush at this show, who were also filmed.
  • As with any 8mm audience footage from this era, full songs and concerts were not able to be captured due to the short length of the film reels.
  • Also as is the case with many 8mm reels of the era, the film used did did not concurrently record audio, so the resulting footage was silent. However, in our present day era, it is fairly easy to sync these old silent 8mm film clips with audio recordings. Since there is no known audience audio recording of this date, audio from the night prior in New York City was used to sync and bring more life to this very rare footage of Rush.

Oh my goodness this is unreal. Fairly long segments of Working Man with the full AFTK Tour wardrobe in effect. Alex just dominating the stage! And this must be the most comprehensive footage of Fly By Night - and it's so neat to see Alex and Geddy hamming it up. A song on its way out of the setlist and they guys are just having fun, a trend that carried on through the decades. Thank you!!
