• May 2023 Update: Many apoligies for the extended period of inactivity, however many big changes for Rush Archives are now in progress. This should benefit everyone, and propel the site onward in the most realistic way possible. Thank you to those who have been supporting this project, and for being patient with the methods I've so far been operating. Further details will be coming soon.

Notes:
This soundboard recording is incomplete, featuring songs handpicked from the setlist to be used for an official promo vinyl, which were produced in 1980 for distributing to radio stations.
The songs missing from this recording are Freewill, A Passage To Bangkok, The Trees, Cygnus X-1, Hemispheres, Closer To The Heart, and Jacob's Ladder.

Whether or not a complete recording of the entire setlist still exists is unknown.
However it is safe to assume it was originally recorded in totality since we have the first and last songs of the setlist, and are only missing several tracks in between.
The live version of Jacob's Ladder included in the Permanent Waves 40th Anniversary set is stated to be from Kiel Auditorium in Missouri, however we aren't given an exact date.
I think it's reasonable to assume that version of Jacob's Ladder is from this same performance, having initially been omitted from this promotional vinyl.

Rush played Kiel Auditorium three nights in a row during this tour, February 11, 12, and 13 of 1980.
No one can be completely sure which is the exact date of this performance, or if multiple dates were recorded and compiled together (like Massey Hall '76 for All The World's A Stage).
Most bootleg versions erroneously date this show to be February 14, and I've seen some that date it to be February 15 or even February 17. None of these dates are correct.
