@zosojp
Sometimes old torrents on TTD don't have many seeders anymore, so may take days before someone pops online who has it connected in their client. That has happened to me multiple times. Either way, no big deal, I managed to grab it off DIME earlier anyway before I even checked TTD. I...
@zosojp
Hi, thanks for the tip. It seems that one was seeded on torrent sites almost a year ago, I must've missed that one. I'll have it up here shortly.
Edit:
Turns out that new tape is of the same night as the old sources I had labeled as potentially being the first night.
Assuming Kirit's...
Our friend Andrew Kaleta who filmed the amazing footage of this concert has sadly passed away late night.
I know he was very excited and happy to see this recent release of his film. Rest in peace...
Thanks, I've adjusted the main notes above to account for that.
I think maybe due to the cut being patched in on some versions is why myself and others may have not noticed (or forgot) this fact.
I think that is really just due to how the instruments were mixed for this specific venue. Every...
I apologize for that, it was missing when I obtained these files, and I completely forgot to try finding it elsewhere.
I just located an old torrent on TTD for the RMCH version and downloaded The Twilight Zone. I've added the track to the download link above, and new checksums, so all should be...
Thanks for reminding me. I have transferred the tape some months ago, but I still need to get it prepared.
I need to do a speed correction because it's super fast for some reason, like approx 30% give or take if I recall correctly.
It's the same source is the one above, sounds just as awful, so...
In case anyone missed it on Christmas day, we released a 1st gen upgrade of this well-known video. It's a significant upgrade to the old circulating version.
This upgrade isn't actually a new transfer, the 1st gen VHS transfer is quite old and has been on a very minimally circulated DVD for many...
I finally made some progress on this after all this time. The new CD has been on my mind off and on since I first learned of it last year, but I kept putting it off again and again. Reason being is that it wasn't easy to find a website that was both non-sketchy and at a decent price. The safest...
That's 100% fake. Someone just added crowd noise to the studio version and called it "live".
There are also complete audience recordings of both nights at the LA/Inglewood Forum which are uploaded here. They have the regular setlist.
Since Best I Can was played as the encore at the March 26 Seattle show a couple days earlier, I would imagine it was here too naturally. Perhaps What You're Doing was an extra song for the Portland set. Though we have to assume maybe they hadn't played WYD on the COS tour, so it may have not...
This all seems to stem from the scrapped medley from the rehearsals. Ultimately they left the new Subdivisions arrangement the same, but moved it to a standalone slot and merged Superconductor into the Xanadu medley instead.
Regarding the full Necromancer being played at the March 28, 1976 Portland show, this is the article I found while digging through newspaper archives. Plenty has been heard in the past how Styx had a vehicle breakdown and couldn't make it to this show, but this is the first time a review talks...
Pitch and tempo shouldn't be separate adjustments, it's the speed of the payback of the tape when transferred.
It's quite possible someone improperly tampered with the tempo or pitch of this decades ago, instead of just adjusting the speed.
If you attended a Rush concert during the Hold Your Fire tour during 1987 or 1988, or watched any videos from the tour, you may remember how hundreds of red balloons were dropped from the ceiling during In The Mood, for the show's encore. Over the years since, it had became apparent that many...
Thank you very much!
We've converted the AIFF to FLAC and added a download link in the main post for the raw files you contributed.
I've given you credit in the text file, please let me know if you want to add or change anything.
I will try to work on a speed corrected version as well, I'll try...
During 1991 for the new release of Roll The Bones, this specially-made promotional item was produced in seemingly limited quantities. I'm not entirely certain how many were produced, nor exactly how they were distributed, but you pretty much never see them online or find someone who has one. For...
