Does anyone have the multitrack stems for Moving Pictures?
Hello.A ton have been floating around over the years that have been from the "analog hole" method, rather than proper decryption from the source. Rock Band moggs are already compressed and lossy, so the closer you can get to the source the better (GH is even worse, iirc the ps3 version actually used mp3 compression...not that ogg vorbis is that much better, but still). Fortunately I do have unencrypted moggs ripped straight from my console, but I messaged By-Tor about because of the legality of it all and came to the conclusion of erring on the side of caution.
The 5.1 mixes on the drive, what's your process? Assuming they were created using demucs/ai splitting? It's an interesting take on the mixes. The rears seem to have a lot of low end information (or at least in GUP), any reason why you chose to do that instead of having it in the LFE?
I do have that backed up to a dvd somewhere, I grabbed it from Demonoid in the noughties. I will have a look for it this weekend coming and find a dvd-rom drive to get it on the PC. BTW the Vital Signs tracks have some weird extras that are not audible on the studio mix!I am still looking for the non-fade out version of Vital Signs. If anyone would like to share, it would be appreciated.
Ok, MP V2 is good to go xDI thought the same about Vital Signs until I listened to the 40th anniversary vinyl. Its there just buried in the mix in digital form. I have an extremely revealing system and love listening to it
