I recently looked into possibly reaching out to the current owner of the master (I suspect it is the same person as the owner of the 1984 GUP bootleg) for a better-quality version, since his Youtube channel seems to be a little more active, but I found that there is no way to directly contact him. It may be possible to post a comment and ask him a question, but I am unsure if I will get a response back.

I've had very bad luck trying to communicate with people on YouTube for their lossless transfers, other non-uploaded content, etc. Every time I've done so, I've just kept getting the impression that if they aren't already providing it, then they probably have no interest in doing so. Usually I'm ignored or get some indirect response that doesn't really answer what I'm asking.

I'm not saying it's not worth the try though, it always is, because you never know. If you pursue communication, please let me know if you have any luck.

Funny you mention this today—just a couple days ago at the gym I started listening to this show (again) and it suddenly hit me how excellent this Milwaukee show and the ’84 Milwaukee show sound and if it’s not the same taper.

They have posted their other remasters on OneDrive, but it seems these ones weren't present. So I have hope they will upload them if asked to.

Yeah, the quality of these bootlegs is unmatched. I prefer it over the soundboards, as a matter of fact. It feels much more "live" to me with the audience cheer. Much unlike the sterile sound of the Hawaii Monitor Mix.

Agree 101%. The first MSG show on the CP tour is exactly like that. Good, clean sound, and a lot of fantastic crowd noise, including singing along. Amazing.
